Keeping you up to date with the all the latest work from students, staff, and graduates of the programme, and highlighting the best work & events for 3D Designers from around the world.
This series of two-minute drawings kicked off the Object to Origin session. This is a really good way of preparing your head and your hand for drawing. The exercises loosen you up, get you thinking quickly and encourage you to respond spontaneously.
The following drawings prove how accurate, lively and fun, drawing quickly can be. Each set of drawings were completed within half an hour.
Next time you are feeling a bit sluggish in the morning and need a bit of motivation, remember this exercise and apply the strategies we introduced you to, to kick start your day!
Gary Milk Carton drawn in pencil and stick and ink – with eyes closed, with wrong hand, continuous line etc
Washing up brush – as above but also keeping eyes on the object and not looking at the drawing (really hard – try it!)
