Three Dimensional design graduate Bethan Lloyd Worthington (2006) has been nominated for this year’s Perrier-Jouet Arts Salon Prize. This prestigious award seeks to “celebrate the Art Nouveau spirit of turning the mundane into something beautiful.”
Bethan was nominated for her drawings by Alison Britton (writer, critic, curator, ceramicist) and follows in the footsteps of fellow 3D graduate Joseph Hartley (2012) who was nominated in 2014 by Philip Hughes, director of Ruthin Craft Centre.
Established in 2013, the award of £10,000 seeks to support the creative development of the selected nominee drawn from the contemporary field of craft practice. As well as the monetary prize there is also an opportunity to exhibit at a London venue this summer.
