51ba708f-c418-436c-a734-11e8c4d63514-2060x1236Read this thought provoking article about body hacking in the Guardian – http://www.theguardian.com/artanddesign/architecture-design-blog/2015/aug/14/body-hackers-the-people-who-turn-themselves-into-cyborgs.

Meet the professor who has spent the last nine years cultivating a third ear on his arm to act as a remote listening device so that others can benefit from hearing everything he hears. Find out about headphone implants, night vision eyedrops and a USB finger drive (that really is a finger) along with Project Cyborg (http://www.kevinwarwick.com/Cyborg1.htm) led by Professor Kevin Warwick, hailed as “the World’s first cyborg”.

Does this shift our perception of ‘the wearable’ and design for the body as we know it?
