Gianluca Mingola – Graduate 2014

studioCongratulations to Gianluca for all of the recent press coverage he’s received as a result of showing his furniture collection at New Designers One Year On exhibition at the Business Design Centre in London in July.

Named as one of the five best emerging design talents by the London Evening Standard, Gian’s work was also featured in the Sunday Times (Almost famous: the next interior stars)  and the Independent (The best of Britains creative graduates). Check out his website for further details – http://gianlucamingolla.com/news/

A longstanding and prestigious event, New Designers has launched the careers of a number of other 3D Design Manchester graduates including the internationally renowned Thomas Heatherwick (http://www.heatherwick.com/) and more recently Jill Shaddock (runner up Best Young Designer 2011) and Joseph Hartley (winner Best Young Designer 2012).  And of course there’s also this years Best Stand Award 2015 (http://www.newdesigners.com/page.cfm/link=372)

We couldn’t be more pleased for Gian and it’s further acknowledgement of the quality and pedigree of graduates from our Three Dimensional Design programme here at the Manchester School of Art.

Next year it could be you!
