Keeping you up to date with the all the latest work from students, staff, and graduates of the programme, and highlighting the best work & events for 3D Designers from around the world.
Three Dimensional Design at Manchester School of Art focuses on the objects that surround us, from the cherished personal to the everyday functional. Students discover and understand the complex relationships we have with the made world, and how these objects reflect and shape a society that is ever changing with new ideas, materials and processes.
With a hands-on approach to making, the programme encourages students to discover the potential for producing objects that blend the best traditions of hand-making with the technologies of machine and digital manufacturing. It guides students to develop their working practice within the context of craft and production making, understanding the subject’s rich and diverse history, and embracing future opportunities to achieve personal and professional ambitions.
